Warfare doesnt care about which day it is, so battles also occure on tuesdays.
The commanders have to dispose according that - and so do I.

Sorry Guys, while last time there was a power-blackout for an instant, this time the connection of my provider dropped for some hours. I actually thought only humans are vulnerable of corona.
Anyways, the battle itself was also disastrous for me. Although put under direct command, the batteries just didnt follow my orders. It took me most of the first hour to save their remains and bring em to my lines. I think the commanders didnt stay with the elements. Also the Cav squadrons moved weired, different then the commander. I assume I know how to issue orders propperly, dont I!?
Strange things are going on with those Prussians.

In MP, when issueing orders to the AI subordinates, often a courier is sent to the CIC with an empty message.

I hope you could complete the battle well.

I think the issue with prussian commanders is that they move a bit slower than troops (actually more than a bit), so when they march, especially for medium/long distance, commanders stay far behind their own troops. In the version 7 of the mod I fixed that problem but I forgot to set those values when I made version 8.
The only thing you can do now, is to give them more waypoints, wait for the officers to rejoin their troops and then issue new orders; you can also give a run command for the officer alone but when he reaches the waypoint he usually run back to his marching troops and then get lost again in the rear.

About your second issue I can't figure out what it could be; so Praetoria received blank messages from one of your subordinate? Could you explain better when this occours?

Regarding the battle it went very very good for me and Colbert. Our cavalry manoeuvre in the centre basically splitted your forces around Mont Saint jean from the other near the objective. Then I moved two divisions in the gap and the battle was over. There were still a couple of prussian battalions protecting the objective but the difference in points and casualties was huge.

I'm ready for the fight.

Jakmin plays too :thumbsup :howdy

:) Io sono andato bene... Finchè non è iniziata la battaglia :) Ripensando a come è andata sono arrivato in ritardo a M.S. Michel e a quel punto non si poteva fare molto. Complimenti ai francesi comunque.

1. There actually was no time to use waypoints. Competing for an objective is timesensitive. My task was to block the way to the objective and it is always a good idea to prepare the lines before the opponent arrives.
So I would say, you know what not to forget with the next version.  ;)

2. It wasnt an issue in the last session. I just mentioned cos I started with complaining anyway.

The issue mainly occurs, when I am CiC and issue the first orders at the beginning of a battle. When I send dispatches to AI-subs, often a courier with an empty message is sent to a human subordinate, although I didnt choose him as receiver.
