Multiplayer

All mp games are played in a friendly manner. What matters is that all players have a fun and immersive time. Respect will be shown to all members at all times.

Game version:
Steam or Matrix version acceptable.

Comms:
You must have a good Teamspeak setup with a clear microphone (preferably not free standing). Even though some games will employ the courier system for in game comms. TeamSpeak is still required during the initial setup phase and after. Also if there is an issue.


Mods:
All players must have the same mods with same versions. There are some mods however which are client side. Realistic smoke for example.

Mods in SOW are not a big problem. The majority are a few MB and some are under 1MB. They are pretty stable and are not updated often. The players should check however.

A list of mods will be provided beforehand.


House rules: subject to change.

Some games will have no house rules. This will be stated.

1. No turning off trees. Keep the fog of war.

2. A player can't scout more that 200-250 yds. away from his troops. If he wants to go farther, he must be in the presence of a regiment of cavalry or a skirmish battalion.

3. Do not set up your guns in woods or heavy woods. Light woods or orchards are OK.

4. Try to keep cavalry out of woods or heavy woods. This is not always easy as they have a mind of their own.
