Updated Logo

I am updating the Logo to represent the far reaches of DOW beyond just one area... Below are some ideas and if you have one, please post or comment.

I requested PE look into this.

This is just for the "dogs head" logo. He originally created it. We will integrate it into the banner created by Stardog.

My choice would be the first logo. It wins hands down for me for these reasons:
(1) Virtual has the 'R' flipped-horizontally and the letters 'V' and 'U' in contrasting yellow to the other letters.
(2) The 'R' in Virtual is consistent with the letter 'R' in War which is at the bottom of the logo. Both are flipped horizontally to resemble Russian Cyrillic.
For those special effects alone, I recommend to you DOW's new logo.
But I am sure a committee will make the decision.

And since we are talking about design, I also like Judge Dredd's signature. Lots of yellow and avant garde design with the Leo shown in incomplete shape and in angled/asymmetrical fashion.

I agree with what you say Frankie regarding your choice, in that it fits the bill. However it is not my choice at this point as i have not decided yet.
