This topic is made to write down known or lesser known incompatibilitys, how to do stuff, basic tools and other stuff.

If in your system there is an incompatibility problem it will be posted here and pm'ed to you...

A general incompatibility with some Dell computers. It is known on the K and M series motherboards (Asus build), There is an incompatibility with some of the samsung SSD controllers (namely the 840 and 850 EVO and familiar series). Sometimes this is fixable with a firmware upgrade, sometimes its a straight up disaster. If you own a dell computer and are planning on upgrading it with a samsung SSD shoot me a PM and I will check if you could get those issues aswell. Also before buying check whether  you have warranty so just in case you are affected you can return.

How to check for weird issues.

Check your windows event viewer.

Explanation in the youtube video:

Don't worry, having a lot of errors and warnings here is common.

Also it is often used by some scammers to scare you. Dont be scared. If there is weird stuff in there you can shoot up me or others or post it in the support Q&A

If you have graphical performance issues try moving back a graphics driver or two. Find out which one is the stablest and when you dare change to a new one. The lastest driver is not always the stablest or the most optimised one for a certain game. Because of this reason shut off automatic driver updates in windows 10.

On HASP Dongles.

I own 3 of those ones and the general advice is to keep the last driver posted by the software you are using. Not the last driver from the hasp site. This has given me a lot of trouble in the past and that is fixed by only installing the drivers supported by the software.

When getting a new laptop or PC and you dont feel like reinstalling windows:

Also usefull when you start seeing some random unwanted crap.

Next tool is also important on standby. Be carefull with it:

Adware cleaner

Update on incompatibilitys. Various of the sandforce controllers (not only samsung) show incompatibilitys with certain chipsets and sata controllers. Not only the dell series are affected. Especialy the entire haswel series has problems.

Before you buy an SSD for your system give me a pm, and I will see if there could be any issue. The list is to random so I will search and find it out manualy for each controller and chipset.

both my ssd's are failing at this moment, so there is a chance I will be out of the internet for a bit. I will see for how long I can hold on. I got a funny responce from samsung support btw: Dont use windows 10. It is so unstable (which is true) that we dont recomend to use it with our ssd's...
