Mine was Amsterdam , finally got my hands on it . It looks and feels really well built , buttons are nice and solid , the gimbals feel very precise and very quiet compared to my CH .

Not flown with it yet  but already I can tell its a quality peice of kit . It looks amazing too !

Reds

Flown with it a bit now , its super precise . Not a fan of using it in mode 2 as it gets confusing so i'm sticking to one mode , got it paired with a throttle anyway so i've got plenty of buttons .

I highly recommend it tbh , its an awesome stick , and feels well built . Thumbs up from me  :thumbsup

I just tried it with the DCS Blackshark which is a really good test of accuracy and all I can say is WOW!

This stick is fantastic , really accurate and smooth , for the price its a bargain , Systeminshock your in for a treat .

Just tracked the shipment and I don't know that it will make it by tomorrow. Hopefully Tuesday if it doesn't.

I'm glad it's an awesome stick.  It will be nice to not use that clunky CH stick.

It has arrived!  Wow, this is so much better than that old CH stick.  I think I agree that I'll stick with one mode.  Maybe with some practice I can get used to it, but first I'll need to get used to all the buttons in these locations.  Hmm, now how to mount this thing.

Nice, I suspected you all would like it.  Now if they would release a throttle that does not cost an arm and a leg.

Ugh.  Not more toys I can't afford.  I don't even want to go look at what it costs.  Anything that's not so expensive that works with it?

I am using a Thrustmaster TWCS:

http://www.thrustmaster.com/en_US/products/twcs-throttle

It works quite well with it, but it is not high end.  I have taken it apart a couple times and lubricated the metal slides with silicon (don't use wd40 or lubricating oils, they will eventually destroy the plastic).  That has made it better.  I got it used on eBay relatively cheap.

Reds

Grats on the new Joystick System, hope you have fun with it .

Heard lots of good stuff about the TWCS throttle , it's supposed to be really good !

I know this late to reply, but in looking I found a lot of people complain about the stiction in the TWCS.  I did more research and found a good lube for it, although I did not use exactly what was recommended.  It completely resolved the stiction.

Since the larger tubes cost a bit much just to try out, I found a 2cc 'sample' bottle of the medium viscosity lube instead of the heavy viscosity that was recommended by the majority of people using this.  I also did not want a lot of damping.  This certainly did the trick!

NyoGel 760G™ Damping Grease (2cc tube)      $3.00
Item #A3-NYE-760G-2cc

It was also $4 for shipping, got to me in a few days.  It was purchased from Overready.com.

Here is one of the threads I read that recommend the Nyogel 767a, but like I said I did not want a thicker viscosity or a higher level of damping.

I have come across stiction on various occasions. Mostly in my radio control usage. I have employed various methods from removing small amounts of material, replacing bushes with bearings, using various grease and using Teflon sheet material. It is VERY important to use the correct grease/lubricants on plastic. Otherwise you could damage the components!
