What an excellent part 1. Thank you everyone

This was a re-work of Waterloo. The French had 2 objectives to take. The OOB's were reduced. Mistakes were made by the French. The Allies took advantage. I hope to do an aar soon.

There were 5 human players in total.




Questo è stato un ritocco di Waterloo. I francesi avevano 2 obiettivi da intraprendere. I OOB sono stati ridotti. Errori sono stati fatti dai francesi. Gli alleati hanno approfittato. Spero di fare un aar presto.

More than errors I think it was a matter of timing.

Miko ordered to me to attack in between Hougoumont and la Haye with my corps while he moved to west of Hougoumont to flank allied position.

I ordered Colbert, which was commanding a division under my corps, to probe to the right of la Haye and try to attract some enemy there.

I received from Miko a courier where he told me he was in position and to not reply in order to avoid to reveal his position.

When I saw parts of allied troops moving to west and parts moving to Colbert position I thought Miko was already engaging the enemy.

So I immediately moved a division in what seemed to me a hole in allied deployment.

But Fabian, commanding allied infantry, quickly close the gap on the ridge and slowly repulsed my attempts to take it.

Also Colbert had to move back when Asid came on our right with his cavalry.

Miko took the objective north of Hougoumont but there are still allied troops inside the fort.

I think next part will be very interesting; we made no progress between Hougoumont and la Haye but we have a good position on allied flank
