I meant that if a crew member is exposed then he can easily become a target and be killed/wounded. This can lead to a loss in efficiency/operation of the vehicle.

The ability for crew to be wounded/killed out of the hatch should not be overlooked in any good simulation.

A very nice scene because they used a real Tiger tank. A first in movie-making! In fact, the only last working authentic Tiger tank from a museum. Special effects added. Other than that, it's the real deal man!
