What is the most popular flight simulation software? How many are planning to get the upcoming Microsoft Flight Simulator? How much do flight simulator enthusiasts spend on hardware and software every year? These were some of the questions that we set out to answer in this year's edition of the FlightSim Community Survey. The turnout was better than ever and we are very happy with the results.

A. Situation:
1. Enemy: Head of a reinf BMP BN 10 km north of BUTTLAR on the way to the south. Further forces of a BMP-Rgt follow.
Suspected enemy intention: Advance south in the course of the ULSTER. Strong reconnaissance forces ahead are to be expected.
I expect the enemy main thrust over BUTTLAR - BORSCH - B728 and the possibly supporting attack over BERMBACH - KRANLUCKEN.
2. Own: Reinf 4./911 as advanced guard has just reached planned FEBA NEUSWARTS - GÜNTHERS - SCHLITZENHAUSEN. Reinf point platoon A takes positions along security line (SL).
No contact with the enemy so far.
B. Task: Reinf 4./911 sets up with mass in the course of FEBA for temporary defense, clears enemy points early, attrits enemy with parts and holds FEBA until BN arrive.
C. Execution:
Forces deploys at the front initially secure in SL, wear down enemy by fire, delay him for at least 60 minutes and lead him in front of the company to finally catch him in the company's combined fire.

Military flight sim in P3DV4
Vietnam/SE-Asia missions. Yep, thats right and they fight back
I use: FSX@War, CCP, FSCAI, VACMI (SSW)
Military simulation is VERY doable in P3D. I enjoy having the entire world to fly in as well as real weather. I can fly a mission in Syria, Libya, Afghanistan, Vietnam. In fact almost anywhere.

- Dino IndiaFoxtEcho TA-4 Skyhawk "Scooter".
- Resterauvia Mirage IIIC
Maybe the SSW F104/AV8BII "HARRIER"
- Milviz Corsair landingon carriers
Civillian: Using JustFlight VFR Scotland.
Milviz KA350i. This is a very nice model. It has its faults but they are being addressed quickly by the devs. It is a deep, fun and immersive simulation
