Update 1.7: Nightfall Community Test Environment Begins Tomorrow

To celebrate one of our biggest updates, Operation Nightfall - releasing in June, we will be previewing some upcoming content on the Community Test Environment starting tomorrow!
Go to your Steam Library and download "Insurgency: Sandstorm Community Test Environment" to play. The CTE will be open from Thursday, May 28th from 10:00 am MST/6:00 pm CEST until 5:00 pm MST/1:00 am CEST on Monday, June 1st.
As per usual, we'll be running a Play with the Devs event on the CTE from 11:00 am MST/7:00 pm CEST - 12:00 pm MST/8:00 pm CEST:
Thursday May 28th (in Co-op Night Map Matchmaking: Night Normal, Night Hardcore, Night Frenzy)

It was a cold February morning on the way to Europe in a single-engine Cessna 210. I was enjoying the performance and steady rumble of the big-bore Continental IO-55O engine. I had my little red booklet on the dash where I continually scribbled down speeds, fuel burn and temperatures as part of my performance log. I needed to know the airplane's exact performance prior to the long overwater legs ahead. The back seats were filled with survival suits, rafts, and even a hand-crank fuel pump for fueling the airplane in Northern Canada. I was northbound to Milwaukee—one of my favorite overnight stops before launching into Canada.
Though I'm not much for superstition, I do have rituals. In fact, most ferry pilots have rituals. My ritual involved having a tomato-bisque dinner prior to the first day over water. The next morning, I would don my survival suit and cross an icy Lake Michigan on the way to Sault Ste. Marie, Canada.

OPERATION PETRO CANADA
1) SITUATION:
a) Local authoraties have nofified us that during the past 6 months fuel has been going missing from a fuel depot.
A Russian who is sympathetic to the Ukraine has notified authorities that the Russians have been sneaking accross one of the unguarded boarders during the night but does not know more than that.
b) The Canadians with 3 Leopards 2A5's and 3 LAV's are currently at the Main Boarder Crossing use these units to locate the tanker truck aswell as any other units with them
2) MISSION:
You will head out searching for the Russians Units immediatly.
The current time is 0515hrs with sunrise set for 0541hrs we are certain they are heading to cross back into Russia and will not engange.
Destroy all Russian Units before Crossing the boarder we want those units destroyed in our territory.
Do not engange any Units that are across the boarder, we know the Russians do not want this information made public that they are conducting these covert operations. They will not...
