Enemy:

- Russian T72B3 Battalion is advancing south towards the AO.

- The main body is supported by at least 2 companies of BMP2 Mechanized Infantry.

- It is estimated 1 Tank coy and 1 Mech company have deployed in your sector Between PIG and BARN.


Own:

- Leopard 2A6MA2 Platoon.

- Boxer section with .50 cal RWS and 2x Infantry Squads.

- MB300 section with SPIKE-LR and scout teams with JIMLR.


MISSION:

Within 1 hour, locate and identify the forward elements of the Enemy Battalion.

In order to allow time and space for your battalion to deploy effectively.


EXECUTION:

For Each Zone, Report by trigger the presence of Enemy Tanks / Mech Infantry.

Triggers must be correctly set before mission end.


FIRE SUPPORT:

- 2 batteries of 6 tubes 155mm artillery, Total 720xHE, 360xSMK.

- 2 tubes 120mm mortar, Total 72xHE, 16xSMK (Max Mortar Range Phase Line GOAT).


TIME LIMIT:

- 1 hour.

From the outset, our aim was to build upon the success of Project Reality, propelling the gameplay experience to unprecedented heights. Yet, during Squad's development, we faced the inevitable temptation to stray from this original vision. To help you wait during Tacview 2 development, here is a brand-new maintenance update for Tacview 1.9.

As always, with better support for your favorite flight simulators as well as real life data. There are also minor improvements to the stability and performances based on your feedback.

We thank you for your precious feedback. Your requests and suggestions are always taken into consideration. While some might not make it into Tacview 1, they are certainly considered to be part of Tacview 2 from the ground up.

Speaking of Tacview 2: The new architecture, multiplatform UI and Vulkan renderer are now running well (including Linux). We are currently working on the brand-new terrain engine. This is the last difficult point of the project to “prototype”. After that, everything should take shape more quickly. We are eager to reach a point where we can deliver a first closed alpha to begin large scale testing and feedback gathering.
