About TacPack
TacPack allows the addition of functional weapons and other tactical systems to TacPack Powered aircraft. It also provides an interface for user-deployable AI such as surface to air threats, aircraft carriers, drones, and aerial refuelling tankers.
TacPack® is a true single and multi-player tactical combat engine for FSX or P3D (requires separate license for each platform). In a nutshell, TacPack enables true combat systems such as lethal weapons, radar, and radar warning receivers to be used in FSX/P3D against single or multi-player adversaries (or yes, even against lowly Cessnas!). TacPack will change everything you thought you knew about what was possible in FSX/P3D. TacPack also features the ability to spawn AI ships (e.g. aircraft carriers with pitching, rolling decks), refueling tankers, drones, and lethal SAM sites directly into the simulation via a handy in-game menu. Being a member of the Silent Service of the US Navy you take command of a Gato/Balao class submarine and go on extended patrols in the dangerous waters of the Pacific in world war II. Your task is to attack Japanese merchant ships without being caught by destroyer escorts either using your torpedo weapons or your deck gun in a realistic environment.
