VBS Online mission 08 01 16

Just did a quick on-line mission with Heavygunner.

He created a quick mission. Halo jump and clear village....Lets just say I need more practice with the halo........

HG is in USA. I am in Scotland. I hosted. Zero lag. Great frames.

This was a quick test mission generated by Heavygunner to test mp connection. It worked perfectly. No lag or issues.

I jump


I pull my chute too late! I lose my head! I invoked the Real Tim Editor to respawn. Thats why you see no equipment on the body. Its ok as this was a quick test.


OK landed a little off target...On way to the village.


We approached the village...I had to pop smoke as I came under heavy fire.


I came off worse in the fire fight. Heavygunner carries me to safety. I got shot in the back while he was carrying me!


If you look at the above picture where I am being carried. You will see a tower on the right of the picture. This had a sniper in it originally. It took me a while to dispatch him.

I like the HALO jump system in VBS the only downsize it's that you can not really move forward in free fall.

My game is up and running in 3.8.1

We will be testing HeavyGunners new mission tomorrow.

Just carried out some testing. This mission is great.

No re-spawns.

We hope to run this mission this Friday, Saturday or Sunday. There will be a mission post with manning list.
