Hello All,

After 45 years with NASA, I retired on Monday.  So this means I will have a lot more time for Schwerpunkt in the future. My plans so far:

1. Complete the remaining scenarios of WWII-Europe.  I have completed #26 Italy 1943-1945 and #95 Germany 1945 and those two are ready for release.  That leaves #1 Blitzkrieg 1939-1941, #33 France 1944-1945, #98 Gotterdamerung, #100 West Front Campaign and #101 East Front Campaign. I have some bug fixes to the other finished 95 scenarios. I would like to finish all of the scenarios, then release v1.0.14.

2. Next step is in the planning stages.  I am currently using a 26 year old desktop (compile server) with an old Visual C/C++ compiler and a Fastgraph graphics package.  All other development is done using a modern laptop, including scenario development for WWII-Europe.  I will need to modernize this setup to build a new wargame, which will take me some recoding and some time before I will be able to develop any new wargames.  I have done some research on the Civil War, War in the Pacific, Vietnam and an upgrade to the existing Middle East War 1948-Current game.  But I would like to get my customers opinion before I proceed.

3. I know I lost a lot of customers over the last few years, and want to take this moment to thank those who stayed with me.  And to welcome back any who return!

Hello, Ron!
Nice to see you!
I hope you'll fix the problem with the Bulgarian troops, which are completely black and unreadable =)

Agent Smith

G'day Ron.
Congratulations on all your efforts with NASA.
:howdy
I've been along for the ride since Anglo-German War, and Middle East Wars, and obviously WW2-E.
Being from Aus; I'm obviously interested in how you'd treat the Pacific Theatre, A series of Island hopping scenarios and a tweaked Naval model perhaps?
Would also be good to see some polish and some upgraded scenarios for the Middle East game.
(imho, there's enough ACW games already).
Anyhoo, looking forward to seeing where your retirement leads to.
Hear's to a brutally aggressive tactical and strategic A.I.
Regards
A.

For Frenetico:  Good to hear from you again.
For Pjkj:  Refresh me, which scenario did you see the black units for Bulgaria?
For Agent: You are one of my longest term customers with several great edits and suggestions.  Thanks, and great to see you are still around! I have been watching a lot of Pacific War YouTube videos recently.  Would have to develop several new rules to give a better model of naval warfare, but it would be an interesting choice.  I also have watched a number of War of Independence YouTube videos.

Status on development of #98 Gotterdamerung.  150 Axis units developed (on the map with all characteristics coded) out of about 300.  Many are composite ad hoc formations consisting of remnants from previously destroyed units.

It is so good to get back to spending more time with Schwerpunkt and the WWII history. Hope everyone is enjoying the Labor Day weekend!
