12/10/2024 Update for version 1.0

I have created a shared folder in my Dropbox so you can download this mod. Its over 2 GB and includes updated map files, updated CP, updated Report dialogs, and the five PDF manuals I currently have.

Change Log

  • Modified 1,442 Map, UI, and Reports files.
  • Modified Command Panel and scroll buttons.
  • Modified the Europe, High, Mid and Low level map files.
  • Added a manual folder with the 5 PDF's I have.

Dropbox Link:
Here is a link to my Dropbox account it just at 2.08 GB's. This is also JSGME complaint.

Screenshots (see below and next few posts):

The main screen:

The Battles screen:

The Europe Level view:

Note the subtle changes here with the map, background and UI Command Panel (CP) on the right.

The High Level view:

This is the whole enchilada, you can see the scroll bars, and CP and map elements have changed just a tad.

Here are some Mid Level views:

Poland:

England, France, the Low Countries and part of Germany:

Italy and Sicily:

North Africa:

Finland and Russia:

Part of the Balkans:

Some Low level views:

Poland:

France:

Norway:

Russia:

Sicily:

North Africa:

Tunis:

Some UI CP stuff:

Air Ops:

Ground Ops:

Turn Deploy Ops screen:

OOB screen:

I think you can get the idea of what I was aiming for and I think I achieved it. I might tackle the Reports and try to make them pop just a little bit. But I really want to get into playing this as I have spend some time workin on graphics now.

Feedback is welcomed.

I'll display some of this in the next AAR I write up.

Thanks for reading.

NOTE: You can click on any of the screenshot images and it will make it a bit bigger if your browsing this on a desktop computer.

After updating the map (more then just desaturating the hues), the Command Panel, and after updating the first three lead in screens I also tackled updating all the reports in the game. So now for the most part I think my WWII-E mod is complete.

Here a few screenshots to refresh and recap everything.

I think I see some improvements, I'll update the Dropbox folder when I make further changes and post here.
