In che zona del campo di battaglia combattevano i tuoi uomini? Io con Jerome Bonaparte combattevo alla nostra destra.

In what area of the battlefield did your men fight? I with Jerome Bonaparte fought on our right.

Quindi, probabilmente eravamo faccia a faccia. Ero all'estrema sinistra dello spiegamento di Wellington.

So, we were probably face to face. I was on the far left of the Wellingtonian deployment.

4th Division (Tadzio, Colville, with the 3th ¿Who? in his right, and 5th (me, Clinton) in his left.

Rushing to take the ridge near the stream, on the left of the British deployment.

Si, ero io a difendere con il sangue quella maledetta collina

Yes, I was the one who defended the damned hill with blood

I am wondering why I only saved the Game but not the replay too as usual. This is why I cannot serve in that matter.

I do not know. I could speak from my sector. I have no idea what could have happened along the front. Beautiful battle, however, epic!

Non saprei. Potrei parlare dal mio settore. Non ho idea di quello che possa essere successo lungo il fronte. Bellissimo scontro comunque, epico!

After talking with the allied CiC, Biondo, a french success might still be very realistic, if the french would hold the Obj. for the remaining battletime and perhaps enhance the casuality ratio.

Maybe the french CiC, Praetoria, can notify about his assessment and in case of a battle resumption, followed by a new engagement in the same session, enough participiants might gather once more soon.

Ben combattuto, è costato sangue, sudore e lacrime per spezzare gli argini che hai formato sulla collina!

Well fought, it cost blood, sweat and tears to break the levee you formed on the hill!

Biondo

Me and Praetoria talked about the possibility to continue, maybe adding, if possible, an extra time (there's less than one hour to play now). Of course we'd like to play with the more possible players who fought the first part because they know the situation etc... In case of disabled division, it will be possible to choose another one, if available.

I think the situation it's still not clear, we inflicted more casualties but the French still hold the objective. Regarding the fight itself, the situation is quite specular on both the flanks. My Spanish generals are pushing hard on our left while we are suffering and retreating under guards pressure.

Asid, I'll try to upload the replay file but I can't promise nothing, very busy at work :(

Praetoria

Well guys, was a really nice and tactical battle and looks  "symmetrical".
To be honest i think is pretty impossible for the Coalition to take obj in 1 hour, so as Biondo said if possible to increase the time of a played scenario we can continue it. If not we can prepare a new scenario for next time.
Anyway well played for all

The time limit for a battle has been an issue many times. It often shapes the plan. The battle cannot go on for days, unless it is split into parts/saves. Generals are often forced to make decisions which they would not have made if they had more time. so a compromise has to be found.
