Asid

Great battle

I commanded the Coalition with Crimson, General Sandman and Mitre as my divisional commanders. We took 2 out of the 3 objectives, as planned and kept a hold of them. The French commanded by General Biondo pushed us very hard. The centre was under a lot of pressure but we held.

General Sandman held an objective with his mixed division against the great general Colbert.  :cool_Napoleonic

General Crimson, who was fighting his second online HITS battle, fought valiantly on my right with a division of poorely traind infantry. He managed to stop the cavalry of General Biondo from attacking our right flank.  :Lancer

General Mitra held the centre and left against General Bethier and C.I.C. Biondo. He faced a lot of pressure and lost many fine soldiers  :R.I.P.

thank you for a fine battle generals  :Soldier_salute

About the battle, I was unlucky with my first cavalry charge in the middle against Asid's cavalry. That should had made infantry attack far more easy on the objective. Presence of enemy cavalry was really a pain for us during the fight; it slows down us so much.

Then a mistake which came from a misunderstanding with Colbert.

He told me that the enemy (Sandman) was deployed on a hill south of the western objective.I didn't realize this immediatly. If I ordered immediatly to outflank that position from east with at least a brigade probably he could push on Crimson right flank near the wood maybe forcing Asid to weaken other strong point of his deployment.

At the end, Berthier, after a great engagement with mitra, started to push hard on the enemy left but was too late to gain points from that objective.

Enemy Generals played very well.  :howdy
