DOW Sieze Hold and RUN! by Trout (modified by Rinix)

1) SITUATION:
   a) Enemy:
   Elements of the 302nd Mech Bat. have driven a wedge into our division, separating and cutting off our 2nd and 3rd Brigades from each other. The enemy has begun to dig in and shows intentions of re-enforcing. Additional forces have been arriving from the NW.

   b) Own:
   1st and 2nd Platoon of A company (your force) has been rushed into position for an emergency operation.  C coy of the 3rd is surrounded and attempting to break out from its position. If successful they will enter area "Cat" marked on your map at about 14:30 hrs - T+30 mission time.

   c) Support:
   Artillery, 3 platoons with 6 tubes each, firing HE, ICM, and smoke.


Mission:

Clear a route from your departure point to Objective Bird and secure the area. Await the arrival of C coy and cover their retreat towards Objective Dog.  Your mission will be complete when your company and C coy return to Dog, your point of departure.

My trusty M2A2. I deviated slightly north to make better use of the terrain.


The enemy had used this outcrop of trees to hide some PC's. We dealt with them!


The CO called down some artillery to deal with the enemy. It was eeffective!


In the SE there were some infantry. They were dug in pretty good in the woods. We dealt with them.


After dealing with the infantry, I moved to my tasked BP. I used smoke cover to help.


Unfortunately my M2A2 met its demise due to an arty attack by the enemy. 1 missile inf managed to escape.


The mission was a success. Well done all

Nice screen shots Asid and Rinix. I managed to remember to take one (literally) and here it is, reloading after initial fight where we lost a Brad. I had just engaged and destroyed a BMP that took a missile shot at me. I observed the launch in my view finer, and after the appropriate expletive popped smoke and pulled back behind a ridge line.  This was a good mission. Perhaps a couple of more Brads?
