Il 2 control

Hi all, is Il2 playable with mouse and keyboard?
Can u play Luftwaffe too?

I would assume you could. But Il2 is not arcady like War Thunder. It would be much better experience with a joystick. Even a cheap Logitech one would do. You really have to pay attention when flying especially during take off and landing. Not sure how that would go with mouse and keyboard as you have other things you have to deal with as well. Flaps, Trim, RPM, Throttle.  With a joystick you map a lot of those functions to joystick buttons/hats.

I tried a lot war thunder simulator battle, but onyl with mouse and keyboard i'm obviously disadvantage

There might be an arcade mode for IL2, but I'm not sure. When I go in there's advanced engine management involved. Would think that would be easier with joystick with programmable buttons.

Logitech makes some nice ones pretty cheap. I use this one, it's on sale all the time.
