DCS: World War II Update

Our DCS: World War II set of products progress with the Spitfire making great progress and the Normandy map nearing completion. An important aspect of creating the Normandy map is also creating a set of period-appropriate units to populate the map. This includes both Allied and Axis units that span both military and civilian unit types.

For this weekend's update, we offer you an early look at a few of these new ground units.

Me too. Somehow flying P-51 over modern Kerch peninsula and Georgia kills a lot of immersion. ;)

DCS: World War II Update

Last week we showed off some images of a few new ground units coming to DCS World to support the period Normandy map. Today though we'd like to show off some of the new aircraft and ground units operating in their native environment. We hope you enjoy them.

I've missed a good WW2 sim for too long. The last one I played was Cliffs of Dover but it's been some time since.

DCS World War II Update

Work continues at great speed on new elements of DCS World War II. Much of the work is focused on DCS: Spitfire LF Mk IX and the Normandy map, and both are, or will be soon, going into internal test! This is always a good sign that we are approaching an Early Access release. In addition to the Spitfire and WW II era map, we also continue working on new AI units to inhabit the map. Last week we had a look at the Tiger tank, this week we offer first looks at the Panther and a work-in-progress image of the B-17.

Too bad A2A couldn't port their B-17 over, that would be awesomeness!
