Tacview Gift

Is there a way to buy a license of Tacview as a gift? Or, does it even matter? Will Tacview check the credentials or email or something?

Also, the issues with online debriefing in 1.7.2, if I recall correctly, were those fixed?

Hello Zooker.

While there is no dedicated option to buy a license as a gift, you can simply forward the email you will receive to the person you can to gift the product key. The product key will not be bound to your email address. You may also want to give me the full name of the person which receive the product key, for the time he/she will want to recover it in case of system reinstall.

Can you tell me more about the online debriefing issues you may have encounter in 1.7.2? I do no recall working on it for a long time now. In fact, this is the most stable and untouched module of Tacview

Just keep in mind that if you want to host an online debriefing you need Tacview Advanced, and if you want to join an online debriefing you need Tacview Standard. Also, the host has to make sure that the proper IP port is properly redirected on his router. Aside that this feature is really working smoothly for years now.
