A data battery that could change the world
« on: May 05, 2018, 05:46:58 AM »
here something to ponder over if only it could be done

Idea, imagine a battery thats powered by data, the chips that store zeros and ones, imagine a chip chargedup to have all ones, then when required could discharge to be used to charge up a normal chip. the power required to make a one on a chip is micro nano almost nothing, now also consider a normal chip that wants to discharge a one, the one could be recycled into the battery chip to charge it to a one again.

I cant do the tests, and Im not sure how it would work without testing and a bit of invention, but this is the sort of thing that could change the world. data as a battery

well I will try to explain my thinking.

all computers store data in binary 0s and 1s , you would know them as bits that are in bytes, you get 8 bits in a byte ranging from 0 to 256, they are simple on off switches.

Imaging storing the data in spring loaded switches, so press a spring in to store a 1, the release the spring to make it a zero. microchips store data in micro switches.

the chips would need to be custom made to act like micro springs

you would lose some power eash charge and discharge, but it would be a lot less than using a battery on its own.
