DOW Attack on Objective Orange by rykirk (modified by Rinix)

Attack on Objective Orange

1) SITUATION:
   
   Enemy militias currently control Objective Orange.  This cluster of large buildings is important to control access to the highway that cuts through town.  They are unlikely to give it up without a fight, so expect stiff resistance in the form of light infantry and armoured support.  Dedicated infantry AT weapons are also a potential threat.  Enemy forces have been observed patrolling the neighbourhoods surrounding the objective, so watch your flanks.

2) MISSION:

   You have been assigned a small mechanized company comprising one platoon of T-55 tanks, one platoon of rifle infantry mounted in BTR-70s, and a scout section comprising two technicals.  Assault and secure the objective while keeping casualties to a minimum.

OK. We will be using 4.019 for this Saturday's mission. If 4.023 looks to be a good release without too many issues, we will use 4.023 on the mission on December 30.

Enemy was a challenge. they were like chost or shadows all around that I could not see before dying.

This mission...  or rather that neither me nor Rinix took direct lead caused our downfall. So...  in future. What ever the mission. Someone must lead and coordinate movements and doings of friendly units.

Also... two persons on a side. each controlling platoon or more is overhelming. Atleast that is how I feel....   


and thus, space of mission felt akwardly fast. I could keep up looking around to spot things with my own eyes. Yet enemies popped up on map and were supposed to be somewhere?

it all felt overhelming to me an I tried to focus and while I struggled... I got silent, and hence caused even worse lacks on communication.

Worst of my doing was that I hardly ever questioned what Rinix did.  Nor reported to him of what I was intending to do.  Or well... I said that I will be coming to him.  But those tanks of my just were not able to move fast enough gross country.

Also I feel that there was language barrier or something that disturbed our understanding each others. Perhaps my words or spelling is not clear enough... and we completely miss understood each others. 

Makes me think could things go any worse than this?


Im really sorry about all this Rinix. I didnt intend to ruin your game by being so casual.  I just am not confident to command other players that I regard as better than im.
