Ya I think that is correct. I think Black Sea comes as 3.0.

I don't get why they just don't have the V4.0 installer when you buy instead of V3 then buy V4 upgrade....

Pipe. I just went on their site. When you purchase Black sea, for example, it does not say which version. It might be the latest. maybe send them an email to ask?

I would email support@battlefront.com and ask. They are generally pretty quick to reply and helpful. I'd be kind of surprised if new purchases weren't already using the latest engine. Anything is possible, but that seems self-defeating...

Well its to be fair to those of us who bought the game as it was released 3.0 engine.  We have to pay the upgrade for the engine if we want 4.0.
They charge for engine upgrade every few years.  $10 as opposed to $40 like SB.
