The M60 was a nice weapon. It was not used as an assault weapon in the manner shown in the video. At least I never saw it used that way. Nor was sustained automatic fire the norm; bursts of 6 rounds were what the M60 gunners were instructed to use to prevent the barrel from melting. I know this because I carried an M60 for a time during my tour in Vietnam in 1968-1969.

But it's just for the movies and video games that the movie was made, wasn't it? So we all know it's just make believe, right?
