Some photos from last night mission.

These four are from my time with commander Rotar. It was really nice team work out there. He warned me when we were going to hill tops and so we were able to quickly notice targets, identify and let our team to know where tanks were. Multiple times we were reporting dead tanks, as on night we just could not tell if those were alive or not.  I really enjoyed this. :3  thank you all, and thanks for Assasin for being a good CO. And letting Scouts to have their slow space :)

So in my scouting.. i literally run into a Javelin missile team.. and I was lucky that it was like just 20 meters.

Just they were not alone. Aaaargh. Troops fired me with rpg, and I lost right track and got fuel leak.

Later on.. another Missile team got their revenge on me again...  I was able to see how they fired.. I panicked, popped smoke, fall behind, kept moving... waiting...
waiting...  I hesitated... it felt like... 5 seconds...  10 seconds... wtf.. It missed.. I moved out in attemp to peak over just a little to see if I had survived but I never got to even peak over hill... cause..  .. boom I died. >.<

Some screenshots... that i took while being really busy and stressed... hence that green star, I had no time to take away hud overlay.

Convoy has been stopped, and unable to advance to Narva - Tarto to help Russian citizens there in their lack of food.
Evil dogs, showed agressions by opening fire at air, and started to dismount troops that didn't look friendly. Convoy decided that situation is too hot, and started to withdraw back to other side of border to avoid causing more trouble between countries.

As the convoy didn't work out as planned. Me and Cougar decided to make something little extra instead of just going back. I said to him. - Hey... that brown minibus, there are two russian-estonian doctors that feel need to go help peoples in Narva / Tarto, and as they didn't see any army soldiers there they decided to drive to sideroads and make a daring try to get past the army of dogs between their mission.

They were spotted and chased by a supply truck!

And here...  below...  you can see what happens when AI cannot detect that bridge has just blown up, to sky. Entire platoon and bit more of tanks drive off the dridge into hole IED blew up. And as more of tanks drove there..  they pushed tanks that had fallen into river, forwards and suddenly those popped back up to bridge, after sinking into water and basically becoming knocked out obstacles that all of sudden just appeared to bridge like if they would never been in water.

So... I tried to deal with problem, and moved recovery vehicle to clear the road. It had some success. - Just I did get few tanks over the bridge and then one of my tank slightly bumped knocked out tank, and lost driver! I moved there a recovery vehicle, and ICM strike. Well.. I moved another there and that's when I noticed that air strike had destroyed second part of the bridge. (I felt disbelief and anger of that. Mostly since. it started to look that there would be no way that red tanks, units would at all to get to other side of the river. Since of lacks in the simulation. In real life there would been mobile bridges and all kind of other stuff to be used but within simulation limits it was becoming impossible and way too difficult for one person to handle, in reasonable time amount. :(  )

Well. South bridge was abandoned and we focused to the north. Where Cougar had worked nearly two hours to get bridge and minefields cleared for us to be able to cross, with equipment and tactics that are possible in steelbeast.. and truly. THIS IS SOMETHING THAT AI COULD NEVER DO IN STEELBEAST! LOOK AT IT! Imagine that there is two minefields after the steelbeams.. and constant artillery. (ICM, HE, and smoke) landing. KUDOS to Cougar! He did epic work out there.

Of course we had reserved 3 challengers (T-14 armatas) To have some personal fun, but I don't think we never truly had time to actually man those. Both of us were way too busy. Thus those were dispersed to different locations, they didnt move out as platoon cause of troubles of relocating all units at south to north. They got dispersed over the time.

And lastly here is OPFOR plan... of what we had planned to do.. but that we never truly got to be doing cause of all things that didn't go as mission was planned to go.
Orange line is what I was supposed to do at south. Blue line at north is Cougars epic helo attack and green line is what we planned to do in the middle of mission while north west bridge was covered by fascam. Those red areas are rocky areas marked on map to help me and Cougar to avoid those areas. Small orange line at the river is where the main IFV attack came and well.. it was probably only easy movement we made, but without tank support... those could not do anything really. As for green line on russian side. It is back up road that we used to move units at south to north.

Uuum...  Im glad we had all reserve units that were not supposed to be even used, cause otherwise, mission would have end in just a hour from start.
And even with Blue side succes, Red had so much units that taking Narva would been matter or hour / or two.  But I suspect they would not have went any further than that. Basically...  as result, Eesti lost part of it to a hungry giant. I don't think that Russians are going to try again anytime soon. ;)

Some of my screenshots from Saturday Away From Frontlines D.O.W. mission.

We stared just before dawn. DOW received ordered to investigate start activity at the radar station. On the way we picked up our vehicles.

Eagles lead the column towards a depot where we picked up the second SEP, Bradleys and an LAV.

We started our patrol heading towards the radar station. A single bradley leads a section of SEPs and with the CO closing the column.

The northern group was split into smaller elements and told to patrol the northern part of the island. It is there where the enemy dropped and an A-bomb. EMP disabled most of the communication on the island an crucial electronics. Blind as crippled moths we continued our mission.

Close to the airfield we engaged enemy troops. It was a decoy that left us exposed an attack helicopter. Wilso, Asid and Lusik lost their vehicles and crews.

Asid's Bradley and Lusik's SEP burned fiercely.

We received new vehicles at the depot and commenced a counterattack. Durham and Lusik/Wilso defended the northern approach to the depot while the rest of the DOW company made a dash towards the HQ.

Ulan was no match for Rotar's SEP

The counterattack was successful but both sides suffered heavy losses.

All that time we had a spy at the farm in the central part of the island.

Here are some screenshots from me that I was able to take.

At the start I had lot of time... so I took screenshots of paratroop units that had just landed.

Then they attacked Radar station... but it came with heavy losses.

And here is picture that this spy took.
