Kamov Ka-26 cold engine start, engine test and take off at Kislippó, Hungary

Published on Jul 23, 2015

This Kamov Ka-26 belongs to Urbán Kft.'s aviation fleet. It used for agricultural flights around the countryside of Szekszárd.
It stations at Őcsény airfield or Gyönk.

This Kamov Ka-26 came from Ukraine in 2012 where she was operated in Borodyanka airfield.
The team had a lot of fertilizer work in Southern Hungary during spring. Since that they did not need the chopper, so it stationed in a farm near Kislippó.

After we finished the preparation tasks of the chopper, came the very very smoky cold engine start. They engines started little bit hard, they needed a lot of compressed air, but after that, the chopper operated perfectly.
My pilot friend, Gergő Urbán, did the engine test and than they were ready to fly back to Őcsény airfield.
After the take off he did test of the flight controls, then flew away.

That is almost as bad as some old Finnish army trucks at cold winter xD

There is then so tight smoke fog that you could nearly cut it with knife.
