Mi-8 Helicopter Main Rotor Blade in Flight

This is a view of the Mil Mi-8 helicopter that you probably haven't seen before - looking down one of the main rotor blades from the middle of the main rotor assembly (basically the Jesus nut's view of the rotor blade).

It's only 192 rpm! I was expecting more lead/lag, but I guess that doesn't really start until faster airspeeds...

And I guess that near center it's not as horrible as it would be near tips of blades
