Hi Ron,
I purchased the "World War II Europe 1939-1945" game from you back in 2017. After 7 years, just coming back to it. Looks like you've made great progress on the scenarios.
I downloaded the 1012A update from the original dropbox link you provided to me. Really like the way scenario 102 is looking.
Have been playing around with modding scenario 40 (Market Garden) in the editor and like the way you can use notepad++ to easily modify the text files.
I'm looking forward to spending more time on this game, now that I've got the time.
Keep up the great job you are doing with this game.

Thanks.  It does play well, with lots of scenarios to try.  And as you say, it is easy for anyone to modify.  I supplied the text files used to build each scenario because many game players are also game developers at heart.  I have two more scenarios in the works.  #81 is complete, and I am 2/3 finished with #88.  Enjoy!

Hi Ron,

Any update on when we can count on a new game version / update ?

Thanks in advance

I have tested scenario #81, and will now test #88.  That completes the Eastern Front Scenarios.  I would like to try and get one more scenario completed before the next release.  Scenario #26 Italy 1943-1945 or #33 France 1944-1945 are potential additions to this release.  Targeting during the Christmas holidays when I get time off from my day job, and weather that keeps me inside.

Hope everyone is doing well,
Ron

Generally, a new version of the game and info on that here and, say, on http://schwerpunkt.games/ would also be good marketing as it might attract prospective buyers - you know... now new-comers can see the latest version came out in 2018, which might be off-putting for some...

:)  :thumbsup

You are definitely correct.  There will be a new version of WWII-Europe this year.
I'm just trying to squeeze the last inputs into it.

Hi Ron.

Will an update still be coming this year ?

Cheers

Mere Nick

Hi, Ron.  In scenario 92 I've noticed a Russian artillery unit starts out at 59,195 in the water west of France.  Can you tell us what rocket programs you're working on?  With the Musk rockets in the news, and all, it looks like things are really jumping.

Hi Nick,

Just released v1.0.13 a few minutes ago, and sent a message to the Admin on best way to announce!  The new version has scenarios 81 and 88, which completes the East Front Scenarios.

Hope everyone is doing well.

As for NASA, speculation is always in play.  We are continuing to work on the Artemis Program, with the Artemis II mission in test.  It will be a repeat of Artemis I, but with a crew onboard.  Artemis III will have a Human Lander System, and will sortie on the Lunar Surface.

Thanks,
Ron

Ron,

I went to the Dropbox and there is only two files in there. A MS Word Document and a aip file.

The Word doc says:

1.   Note that Help files (both htm and Word formats) are included in this release.

The aip file is called:

World War II - Europe (WWIIE).aip

I don't know what an aip file is but it does not see that the upgrade is complete from Dropbox.

Yeah, I do not have any new files either in my Dropbox under the World War II Europe Sales folder. Please resend and verify that I am in your sales system. Thanks!

Mine finally updated after Asid made some changes. Try checking again.

Dumb question, I am still going through the tutorial scenario, but is 102 included in the version 1.0.13 update?

Any answers for this query?

v1.0.13

Ron,

While scanning the map while updating my map mod project I noticed a couple of items with scenario 102:

in hex: 120,185 is the Poland 2nd Inf.Div (why is this Polish unit in France on 1 Sept. 1939?)
in hex: 147,192 is the Poland 1st Inf.Div (why is this Polish unit in France on 1 Sept. 1939?)

in hex:  56,242 Spain Spain High Command = the NATO symbol type is black (and thus unreadable) but so is the background of the counter
in hex: 315,269 Turkey Turkey High Command = the NATO symbol type is black (and thus unreadable) but so is the background of the counter
