Where is my SMG?

Was that screen shot of the thermal image with the spot light on?

From the videos I have looked at, and the pictures I can remember that the sight does not really look like this, but I could be mistaken.

Where is you SMG? I cannot say for the M60 or other tanks, but in the M1 series they only had places for 2 rifles M16s inside the tank. The gunner was suppose to grab the coax machine gun with a asbestos mitten for the heat, and fire from the hip or ground. You could also grab the loaders machine gun and use it the same way. If you had two with your crew of four, and your pistols, you could act like a heavy machine gun team.

Now that I think of it, the M60 did have grease guns (cannot remember the weapon designation) as the internal crew weapons back then.

I downloaded and fired up the SABOW demo.

So many effects that make this sim so immersive,


Here's a screenshot with my visual graphics set to "very high".




Check out the lighting effect. Sunlight glinting and shimmering off the surface of the water.




The attention to detail is amazing. In the screenshot below, the rectangular vision blocks (made out of bullet-proof glass) around the tank cupola reflect the sunlight.



So many great visual effects. Simply insane. Go ahead, try the demo today! You won't regret it.
