I upgraded last week as I hope to start playing SB again at some point in the near future.

I really think they nailed it in this release, very immersive!  And the interiors are awesome.

Is it good to go?  Or are there too many bugs right now?

I dare to say that its good to go.

Its huge upgrade over all the past versions.

There are some troubles though... especially older computers may need to drop their visibility settings a bit. As new version has quite bit better graphics.

I hope to be able to create and post comparison video soon... so you will see actual differences.

After the feedback from the players that attended a combined operation with others, and not having any major issues, and the TGIF mission with minimal issues, we will be moving to 4.0.

I say again we will move to 4.0 for all future games.

I'm glad to hear that. I'm really into SB now. I'm designing a couple of missions one of which may be used for our games. The other will most likely be more suitable for a small scale casual gameplay.

Even though I need to save up for rent and cable bill.  No hurries right?

Not sure about playing time with the fall season almost in full swing.  As I may have mentioned before, I cover 33 sports teams this fall as the only sports reporter in the local paper.  I may be able to get by on a few Sundays though.  Saturdays for the moment look unpromising.  We shall see.  I'll need Asid's help once again...he knows how technically challenged I am!
