The map editor allows you to create maps from 6 x 4.5 km to 30 x 22.5 km.

• 6 * 4.5 km
• 10 * 7.5 km
• 15 * 12.25 km
• 30 * 22.5 km (only for HW:LG)

The map editor is very simple and using the generator allows you to create realistic maps very quickly.

The simplest method is to simply generate a random map.

In this mode, the editor creates complete maps integrating the different available elements (rivers, lakes, swamps, hills, buildings, roads, etc.)

Redoubts are not included in this mode: the player can however add them.

In a second mode, the editor generates a map with only elevation differences.

Regardless of the mode, the player can then modify the map by adding or removing elements.

The player can also start on a blank map and build his map.
It can also submit a file of elevation differences in order to accurately render the geography of the map; it can also display an illustration of a site in the background to better position the elements.
