Nice relaxed mission with Tuna and Stardog.

DOW = Allied (red)

AI = French (blue)

We ultimately decided not to go for the objective. The score reflects the French holding the obj for some time. However we, the allies, spilled a lot of French blood  .

We went for the objective but we did not know that their major force was already there. It engaged us hard! it pushed us back. It looked bad but we made a stand. Stardog with his highlanders fought bravely and held the line. The French withdrew bit by bit. We harassed them and let them leave..What was left of them. This looked bad for us at one point but we held on and turned it around.

Well played guys.

We headed east along the road. We did not know the enemy started in the east. They split their forces.


We engaged their forces thinking it was the head of their column. We did not know they were at the objective. Tuna fought valiantly. chasing the enemy who fled the field.


We sent some forces down to the objective in the south. Thinking it was clear. They came out to meet us!


Having dealt with the enemy in the north we proceeded to the objective. We realised that the northern battle was only a small part of the enemy forces!


They pushed us back hard. Stardog formed a line. We added to it and made that our last stand!


We held and started to push the French back. The French started to take great losses from our cannons. We let them leave.

Great mission! It looked grim as hell for a while but we were able to rally out troops, form new lines and hold fast.
It was quite a sight at the end to see my regiment, all 4 battalions spread out with a decimated arty battery next to it trying to fight back and Asid eventually getting another regiment that had been involved in another skirmish miles away pulled up into our right flank to tighten the vise on the enemy troops.

Very enjoyable battle.

Only got a couple shots that turned out but its hard to see from the saddle in screenshots anyway.  As it is hard to see commanding!

Fun battle! You guys won?!!.. That mean you were able to control my troops? Sorry I had to leave.

Dont worry about it I actually had to step away for a bit too during the battle and came back to find my troops wondering around haha.

Its pretty damned amazing we were able to get everything pulled together and repel them bastards.  I didnt get a screenshot of the armada of French troops closing in on us at the end before we pulled it together.
