Here's the video. It was a T-55. Loud, dusty, smoking... and great fun. Although I wish I could have drive a bit faster. Next time 8) The place has many more vehicles including and M4A3 and Leopard 1A5 in running condition. They are also restoring a Tiger. It should also be in running condition in about 2 years.

Combat Mission Black Sea - Before the Crossing


In a previous blog entry, I posted a video I captured during a quick battle setup.




I would like to briefly summarize how my troops got to that crossing.

My small battle group had a platoon of mechanized infantry (M2A3s), 2 Abrams tanks, and a somehow oversized indirect fire support party (mortars).








Since my troops had no amphibious vehicles, first I had to capture the near side of a bridge.

Order of Battle returns to Asia with Burma Road!


The Asian theater is back! This summer, lead the British defense of Burma against the Japanese invasion – Order of Battle: Burma Road is coming!

In this original and unique DLC, you will fight for the first time in the jungles of Burma, and organize a deep defense to stop the invading Japanese army. You guard the gateway to India, and they can't be allowed through! Lead forces of both British and Indian conscripts, including the fearsome Chindit infantry, in a 13-scenario campaign! SOF Team Alpha Escapes from Bad Luck and Abkhazian Insurgents - CMANO, Comms Disruption


And I bet you wanted to know what happened to the men of SOF Team Alpha, as reported in my previous post. Team Alpha is out of comms, unable to relay new targets to the A-10Cs.



This is the tactical picture as seen by SOF Team Alpha. They can see the A-10Cs marauding around, but they also see some other close dismounted contacts.



The A-10Cs can only see the target they acquired and boy they unleashed a shower of GBU-12s at them.



Team Alpha was lucky this time. The unknown (they are Abkhazians, I put them there) infantry contacts have moved west without noticing our men.


And so the story ends. Not too much of a story as you can see, but an exploration to this fantastic new feature of comms disruption in CMANO.
