About This Game
Dark Ages is a turn-based strategy game set in the violent world of an alternate Middle Ages. Vikings against war elephants, musketeers against the Mongol cavalry, ancient phalanx legions against crusaders; the deadliest armies in history clashing in bloody war.
An army without leadership is merely a mob. In Dark Ages, troops follow the lead of their commanders: unique leaders with their own virtues, vices, talents, and weaknesses.
Take the throne of a small kingdom being torn apart by feuds and threatened by militant neighbors, and try to survive the Dark Ages.

Game features:
• 6 factions with unique generals and squads: the nimble nomads of the Horde, the well-armored and disciplined Imperial soldiers, the mad Sea Barbarians clad in furs, the Union's guilds wielding gunpowder, the proud knights of the North, and the exotic cults of the Twin Rivers.
• Over 50 types of squads based on real historical troops. No armored bikinis or spiked pauldrons here!
• By surviving battles, your squads...

About this DLC:

The British spring offensive in Tunisia was brought to a halt on the approaches to Djebel el Ahmera (Longstop Hill) by the German 5th Panzer Army. • Two operations of 21 turns for each of the parties (Djebel el Ahmera, April 23-26, 1943).

Hi all,
Pride of nations has been updated!

You can download the update from [link=http://ftp.matrixgames.com/pub/PrideOfNations/PrideOfNations-Update-v1045.zip]here[/link] or from the Members Area

Check the entire changelog below

Pride of Nations 1.04.5 Changelog

Extra fixes on events chains:
- US Civil war. Is now a normal occuring event from early 1861. Has a 10% per turn, so retains some variability.
- Indian Mutiny. Fixed some conditions on province ownerships and is now working as expected. India will be fully British if the mutiny is crushed.
- Crimean War: simplified and fixed the potential AI/human controlled variables and diplomacy opening moves. We now have a very likely Russo-Turkish war, if France &/or GB are human they get a CB, if AI they get bounced into a war. Italian, Austrian and peace parts are all as before.

- 1880 campaign had spheres of influence restored
- fixed several missing strings
- you need Imperialism 4 to DOW
- That, for a given resource, all countries selling it, are selected at once in the trade interface is deemed normal. The original design was never to buy to a specific country.

- 1850 GC gets many extra fixes,...

DCS Nornandy 1944 - Recon at the Carpiquet Airfield

A short mission in the DCS: Spitfire LF Mk. IX, just to kick the tires.

A custom-made scenario, with a single aircraft and a handful of AAA defenses in the Carpiquet Airfield. A far cry from any real life situation, no claims made for a history lesson.

Heads up: a 50% sale for many aircraft is going on now at DCS. This is where I grabbed my Spitfire today.

Taking off from Beny-sur-Mer. The Spitfire is such a stunning aircraft, the digital version is still a work in progress but equally easy to fall in love with.

After I turned around towards the airfield, I used its layout as a visual aid to get oriented. Carpiquet is ~7 miles from the end of the runway, bearing 182 degrees.
