Steel Division: Normandy 44 - Light Tank Saves Some Troops But Not the Battle

A solo skirmish against the AI in Steel Division. British Airborne vs a Panzer Division in the 112 area.

During this skirmish, Tetrarch Light Tanks were all the armor we had for a considerable period of time.

Our vehicle was a RG31E with a remote weapon station. Our mission was to block the insurgents reinforcements pouring into the military base. Some of them already made it to the approach routes in front of the base. An extensive cleanup awaited.

During a not-so well thought dash uphill, these airborne troops drew fire from a German Flakpanzer 38(t).

A birdseye view of the tactical situation. The German Gepard (red icon, foreground) is firing at the British airborne troops in the left background. I am moving a light tank (right, blue icon) towards the tree line, hoping it will get the German flakpanzer by surprise.

The German Gepard started pulling back after a few rounds. The gunnery of the British tankers was almost trashed due to the rapid rate of fire of the German vehicle.

Later on, the German vehicle made the mistake of stopping. Easy target for the Tetrarch light tank!

Falcon BMS 4.33 - HARM Re-Training

I haven't shot a HARM missile in quite a while and after listening to Dan Hampton's Viper Pilot audiobook for the third time, I had to do it again.

Crossing into North Korea with two AGM-88 HARM missiles. Wild Weaseling is always a thrill.

Flight plan detail. I am going to engage a SA-2 at steerpoint 59 and a SA-3 at steerpoint 56.

Ready to go. I have selected the HARM in station 3 and I have prepped it against SA-2's. I have selected the POS mode (stands for POSition known), which is a pre-planned attack mode. In this mode, the HARM will fly to the selected waypoint (59 in this case) and from there will start to search for emissions from radars. Although I'm now in range to fire (below 60 miles) the SA-2 is still silent.

As soon as the SA-2 went live (note the "2" symbol in the RWR) I am ready to launch my HARM.

FS2Crew: 737 NGX Reboot Trailer (2015)

FS2Crew PMDG 777 Trailer (2014)

What is FS2Crew?

FS2Crew develops expansion packs for your favorite 3rd party and default Microsoft Flight Simulator aircraft, such as the PMDG 747 or Level-D 767.

The aim of the FS2Crew series is to let users simulate multi-crew flying in a SOP driven airline environment.

We achieve this end by embedding a virtual flight, cabin and ground crew into the host aircraft who behave in much the same way as they would in the real-world.

Because no two aircraft are the same, each version of FS2Crew is built from scratch on an ad-hoc basis and customized to work within the context the host aircraft. Given the tremendous complexity and sophistication of modern 3rd party commercial add-ons, we feel that complete customization from the ground up is the only way to achieve a high level of integration and to capture the nuances of each particular aircraft and its procedures.

The overwhelming majority of high-end 3rd party add-on aircraft utilize custom code and...
