Dev blog #207
12.10.2018

Dear Pilots!

Today's Dev Blog will be a short one - we have a lot of work to do at the moment. Right now we're finishing five aircraft: Bf 109 K-4 and P-47D-28 for Bodenplatte, Pfalz D.IIIa and Sopwith Camel for Flying Circus and Po-2VS Collectors Plane. Two maps, Prokhorovka map (the map of the Southern part of the Kursk salient, to be correct) for Tank Crew and Western Europe map for Bodenplatte are also shaping up nicely.

The engineering department continues their work on near-sonic aerodynamics required for late WWII aircraft. The interface is also being worked on - Marshal interface for multiplayer and tank (platoon) commander for Tank Crew. Speaking of more imminent changes, we plan to improve the in-game statistics and 'who gets the kill' logic in the next update.

Today we can show you the in-game shots of Fw-190 D-9 Collector Plane:

Command & Conquer Update from EA
12/10/18

Fellow Command & Conquer fans,

My name is Jim Vessella, and I'm a Producer at Electronic Arts. Ten years ago I had the pleasure of being on the production team for Command & Conquer 3 and Red Alert 3, along with being the Lead Producer on Kane's Wrath. During those years, some of my favorite moments were interacting with our passionate community, whether at our onsite Community Summits, on the forums, or while attending various events such as Gamescom.

As most of you may know, we recently announced Command & Conquer: Rivals, a mobile game set in the Command & Conquer universe. Following the reveal of Rivals, we heard you loud and clear: the Command & Conquer community also wants to see the franchise return to PC. And as a fan of C&C for over 20 years, I couldn't agree more. With that in mind we've been exploring some exciting ideas regarding remastering the classic PC games, and already have the ball rolling on our first effort to celebrate the upcoming 25th Year Anniversary.

We are eager to hear your feedback to help influence our current thoughts for PC and what comes next. Over the next few weeks we'll be talking to fans in a variety of ways....

SOW Gettysburg: Shiloh Redux inc New Graphics Mod

THIS VERSION FEATURES NEW MAP GRAPHICS

(All necessary files are included for the complete Shiloh Mod to work)

- designed by David(jolly)

Thank you Crikey for making this possible!

A conversion of the original TCM2 map by Jeremy Huggler (122nd Ohio).

Featuring:

- Converted OOBs based on Phantom Captain's originals.
- Ground texture and terrain upgrades.
- New Gunboat, camp and tent models by Pom.
- New building textures.
- New portraits for Army commanders.
- 2 scenarios to get things started (prefix SH).
- Character sprites for Johnston and Grant (in OOB suffix _CM - standing only)

About the OOBs
OB_ShilohDay1 and OB_ShilohDay2 are based on Phantom Captain's TCM2 OOBs for the Battle of Shiloh.

OB_ShilohDay1_Hist is a historical first-day OOB, with Lew Wallace's Union division and Buell's "Army of the Ohio" removed. This is a fairly balanced OoB for Open Play, with about 40,000 men per side.

OB_ShilohDay1_Hist_CMis a historical first-day OOB, with the Johnston and Grant sprites added.

PLEASE NOTE

This mod hasn't been tested for MP. I have no interest in MP so leave that side of things alone.

This mod can be used (and looks better) with Rebugler's...
