Accu-sim in X-Plane?

From the developer of A2A
PostPosted: Wed Oct 10, 2018

I spoke with Austin at the recent FlightSimExpo about porting in our Accu-Sim engine and flight physics into X-plane, and he said it was possible. We are continuing to develop Accu-Sim to me even more modular and independent. However ultimately our developing for X-plane has a lot to do with how their engine is able to accept our code. P3D and FSX has been effortless in making this work with their robust back end support via SimConnect, and has resulted in us being able to do everything we've managed to do. Also P3D / FSX continues to expand, but like I said, we do want to get Accu-Sim into any platform that accepts it.

Scott.

TBM-900 Release Date Announcement & Previews
16/10/18

Posted by dev

Captains,

After more than one year of full time development I am pleased to announce the TBM-900 is on short final and will be ready for your hangars this weekend! Releasing Saturday at Midnight Eastern Standard Time (get ready to hit that buy button Friday night!).

The TBM-900 is the most complex turboprop aircraft simulation produced for X-Plane to date, and one of the most interactive of all aircraft ever produced up till now. We truly believe this will make for a very exciting experience as you fly through the skies! Because of the complexities of the aircraft, and the fact that text is not always the most fun way to digest information, we will be doing a daily 1 hour livestream video session. Each day we will announce which time it starts, with the first one starting in just a few short hours today at 6:30 pm EST (2230 Zulu).

You can watch the livestream by clicking here! (Previously Recorded)

A brief run down of the core feature list is here:

Dev blog #207
12.10.2018

Dear Pilots!

Today's Dev Blog will be a short one - we have a lot of work to do at the moment. Right now we're finishing five aircraft: Bf 109 K-4 and P-47D-28 for Bodenplatte, Pfalz D.IIIa and Sopwith Camel for Flying Circus and Po-2VS Collectors Plane. Two maps, Prokhorovka map (the map of the Southern part of the Kursk salient, to be correct) for Tank Crew and Western Europe map for Bodenplatte are also shaping up nicely.

The engineering department continues their work on near-sonic aerodynamics required for late WWII aircraft. The interface is also being worked on - Marshal interface for multiplayer and tank (platoon) commander for Tank Crew. Speaking of more imminent changes, we plan to improve the in-game statistics and 'who gets the kill' logic in the next update.

Today we can show you the in-game shots of Fw-190 D-9 Collector Plane:

Command & Conquer Update from EA
12/10/18

Fellow Command & Conquer fans,

My name is Jim Vessella, and I'm a Producer at Electronic Arts. Ten years ago I had the pleasure of being on the production team for Command & Conquer 3 and Red Alert 3, along with being the Lead Producer on Kane's Wrath. During those years, some of my favorite moments were interacting with our passionate community, whether at our onsite Community Summits, on the forums, or while attending various events such as Gamescom.

As most of you may know, we recently announced Command & Conquer: Rivals, a mobile game set in the Command & Conquer universe. Following the reveal of Rivals, we heard you loud and clear: the Command & Conquer community also wants to see the franchise return to PC. And as a fan of C&C for over 20 years, I couldn't agree more. With that in mind we've been exploring some exciting ideas regarding remastering the classic PC games, and already have the ball rolling on our first effort to celebrate the upcoming 25th Year Anniversary.

We are eager to hear your feedback to help influence our current thoughts for PC and what comes next. Over the next few weeks we'll be talking to fans in a variety of ways....
