Update 1.4 is here, bringing even more new game mode, level, weapon, and cosmetic content, all of it free for everyone who owns Insurgency: Sandstorm.

Experience a total overhaul to the Play menu with playlist based matchmaking, map and game mode voting, and limited time playlists that feature special game modes with a twist and new update content. Check out new tug-of-war inspired PvP mode Frontline which plays like a two way Push mode match. See our new snow map Hillside, a reimagining of the classic Insurgency map Sinjar with support for all game modes. Play Gunner in a more mobile role with the new Insurgent Galil and Security Galil SAR weapons. Equip new Security Shell jacket and Insurgent Winter jacket cosmetics for the Torso slot.

The FAPLA offensive was halted at the line of r.Lomba, where SA forces, together with UNITA, defeated the 47th and caused significant damage to the 21st and 59th FAPLA brigades. In the beginning of November 1987, SA and UNITA launched a series of attacks on FAPLA brigades retreating to Cuito Cuanavale. The 16th brigade remained the most battle-worthy of them, it took defense at the outlet of r.Shambinga. On November 9, battlegroups "Alpha" (61 mech.bn and an UNITA battalion) and "Charlie" (62 Mech.Bn., 4 Inf Bn, 32 Light Inf Bn, an UNITA battalion) began a joint attack. Also, a squadron of the "Olifant" Mk.IA tanks was transferred to the combat area, and was allocated to 62 Mech.Bn.

This year, I worked closely with military partners to improve Tacview for real-life playback and debriefing. Most of these improvements are also relevant to flight simulators and are now available to everyone in this brand-new release.

This includes better support for small and big screens, more UI modularity, the possibility to display local time (at last ;)), as well as a new tool to measure distance between the selected object and any other object or even a point on the ground.

I have also been working hard to improve performance, notably the loading speed of custom textures (such as maps, satellite imagery...).

Thanks to the help of my partner BuzyBee, numerous airports and maps are now included in Tacview distribution, Tacview database has been greatly extended, and many 3D models have been integrated. This simplifies the installation process by reducing the need to download and manually install add-ons and asset packs for debriefings.

Right now, I am focusing more on Tacview 2.0. So, if you feed a slow down in Tacview 1.x dev, this means...

These rules have NO! record keeping, any effects are to push back, Kill, or knock over(unconscious) units. there meant to be simple but be able to simulate many things.

There are two catagories of units, Combat units & Leaders, you can have any type of unit in the combat catagory, but you can only have a foot or cavalry unit in the Leaders catagory(leaders cant use ranged weapons).

a cobat unit attacks with a D10, you can add more d10s to the attack for certain things, but you only choose one for the combat effect, so if you rolled 3 D10s because your on a hill and are elite, then you roll 3 d10s and choose witch one to use.

2 your repled back 1 inch
