I haven't played it yet, so take it with a grain of salt. I am getting a strong Empire vibe from the screenshots. I'll test it later today. [emoji1303]

So I downloaded WarAtSeaWnenAlliesGoBad1945b.zip, unpacked it and started having my way with that.

I have to admit, at first it was a bit overwhelming. A large seemingly randomly generated map. 300 units moving about at random, pressing the End Turn button over and over again. It was only later when I started clicking on my units and attacking hostile units until they got deleted from the map. I left everything on auto-mode to deal with rearms and the like. I eventually called it.

I think there is some potential in here. I think most of the issues I have stems from an overwhelming amount of data presented on my screen with little context during startup. What are these units? How do I control them? Why are they here? What are they doing? The direction indicator helps, but once they start moving its also skipping. Clarity in this regard would help.

Also a large map with 300 units doesn't help, maybe smoothing the player into this game with a smaller scenario may help.
