Ultimate Ground Crew X




Ultimate Ground Crew X is in the final stages - it's finally reached the point where I'm happy putting my name on it. After some real ups and downs, we'll probably take the award for the longest FS addon in development history, but it'll be worth it!

Here's a screen shot of the Follow Me truck. Note: You can swap the logo on the side of the truck with your own custom graphic or have no graphic at all.




Objectives:

   Realistic Pushback and Tow (Voice and Menu Control)
   Ground Marshalling
   Custom pushback routes
   Follow Me Car / Fire Trucks
   Animated ground crew.
   Multi Language support (ie., speak in native German, not English.  May or may not make V1.0.)

UGCX Beta Shot from FS2Crew - Pushing back a Baron... because why... why not!

We have super accurate pushbacks now! This is actually what held us up all this time, but now we've finally mastered it :-) And it's good :-) Good enough that I'm willing to put my name on it.

FS2Crew is happy to announce that, after many years of development, Ultimate Ground Crew X has entered wide beta testing - finally!

We can't give a specific release date, but all major technical issues have been solved and UGCX is now on final approach.

What's UGCX? It's our take on the world of ground crew/pushback simulations.  We think you'll like it!  It does things never done before in flight sim!

It's time for a UGCX update from FS2Crew
16/01/19

Beta testing is going well. We have some real-world rampers on the beta team or who are making sure it's as real as it gets :-)

Note the UGCX logo on the hood... you can swap that out with your own logo if desired :-)

ETA on release: I won't comment, but we're doing our best to deliver it asap! But not until I'm satisfied it's as perfect as can be!

Please, no more beta test applications! We've been swamped!

"just to update you on UGCX... the remaining bug list gets smaller everyday.... That's all I'll say.

We've been making a lot of changes and adding user options based on feedback from our real-world ramper beta testers.

No official release date until we're maybe a week out.

No more beta test requests please."

Captains, time for a couple new "Ultimate Ground Crew X" beta shots by FS2Crew.

UGCX is now able to directly control the NW STRG DISC lever in the FS Labs Airbus for realistic operations.

Type rating question for y'all (and don't cheat by googling it)... when will NW STRG DISC turn amber?

P.S. Don't ask when UGCX is coming out. It'll be released when I think it's ready and not a moment sooner!

"Beta 2 is nearing completion and will be released to the beta team when complete.  This beta is looking pretty solid!  Won't say anymore! 

I know, it's been an insanely long wait, but there is light at the end of the tunnel..."

UPDATE 26/05/19

Ultimate Ground Crew X!

"Beta 2 is expected to be finished within the week, at which point we can release it to our beta team.

Our UGCX programmer is confident there are no bugs in the software at this point, but the beta team has to verify it.

Once we're confident the code is 100 percent solid, then it's just a matter of recording the international voice set, and then we can release.

We're not going to rush this product out the door.  It's our biggest, and most complicated product yet.

It will not be released until I'm 100 percent happy that you'll be happy."
