Mission Summary :
Two platoons scout to nutralize enemy recon, identify enemy's main attack, fall back under pressure, and call for support 3 companies of armor.

Excerpts of the battalion commander's (HAVOC 6) orders for...BLUEFOR (D.O.W.)

1) SITUATION:

a) Enemy:
   Soviet 211th Motorized Rifle Brigade is moving to attack in sector. Units will push with recon, followed by an advanced guard, and then the main attack.


b) Own:
                  3-5 CAV 1CAV DIV conducts recon in sector to determine location of enemy main attack. Units consist of one platoon of M3A2ODS, and a platoon of M1025 (X2) and TOW (X2)HMMWV.


c) Attachments and detachments:

                    Three companies of Armor two on main route picked, and one company on other route once enemy attack route is determined by player trigger.


2) MISSION:

3-5 CAV recons in sector to neutralize enemy recon forces, identify main attack, withdraw under pressure, and do so with minimal losses. Then 3-5 CAV armor units defend in sector to defeat enemy advance.


3) EXECUTION:



Intent: Provide recon for the battalion, eliminate enemy recon by H+45:00, and minimize losses. Then defeat enemy in sector with armor units.

Mission end problem is or should be fixed now to deal with different tactics of Blue force commander.

Looking for a CO to step up. Hopefully Apocalypse will be able to be there to implement his original plan/new plan at the big wig, but in the event he is not able to, who would be able to step up?

For time, and ease of mission, the plan can be created prior, and the mission given to them anytime between now, and hour before game start. Rules for this are that the CO will not play the mission prior to game time, and only look in 3D view to get an idea of the battle space.

Excellent job by everyone in this one.  Even those who operated infantry without me did well 

Seems like only the M1A2 SEPs have the thermals to find those well hidden FO units.  Next time I see them from 5K out, I'm going to engage instead of leaving it up to dismounts to find them. 

Balance?  Well, we were not issued any supply, fuel, medics, MRVs or repair units so I say this was good enough.  Had there been a major push by the enemy both north and south, we might have had some trouble.

This is weird one. I saw right one burning but my commander didn't saw it burning.


And I had some fun on drivers place too, thought as you can see this time on leo.
