Majestic Q400

I thought I would start a discussion about the Majestic Q400 to list resources (web sites, documents, and videos) to assist with "pilot training"

I'll start with the a link to an obscure website with good information on the Universal Navigation System (UNS) that is the brains of the Flight Management System (FMS) for the Majestic Q400:

Interesting factoid is the UNS is manufactured in Tucson, Arizona which is about a 90 minute drive from where I live.

The above website has the links for downloading two documents for the UNS Operators Manual and a Training Manual.

I think we should have a little section for the Majestic Dash8 Q400. This way we can keep things in order...Build a proper little resource centre.

I think it is a good idea to have a Q400 section all it's own. Only because of how high fidelity it is.

I think that in real life this aircraft is a bit difficult to land properly. I use them quite often and nearly every time pilots slam it into the runway.

Just a real life observation.
