Continuing Innovation in 2017

It has been a big year for Bohemia Interactive Simulations and we’d like to thank our customers for continuing to believe in the disruptive potential of game-based technology. Our flagship training application, VBS3, is the result of significant, long-term investment from NATO (and partner) militaries, and we look forward to supporting its use for years to come.

Earlier this year we released the VBS Image Generator (IG), the first in a series of industry-focused products being managed by Cory Kumm, our VP of Corporate Development. We have developed a new whole-earth rendering technology called VBS Blue, which will be provided as an upgrade to VBS IG customers during 2017. We also recently released a new SDK to enable integrators to easily leverage VBS technology on simulators.

In 2017, you can expect to see continued innovation from BISim as we modularize and cloud-enable our technology to increase flexibility and re-use, and we will also refresh VBS3 to take advantage of cutting edge rendering technologies and user interface design concepts. We will strive to keep abreast of advancements in the broader game industry, like VR, to allow our military customers to leverage the latest technology as quickly as possible through the VBS product line.

Thanks again for your continued support, and we look forward to an exciting 2017!
