Nice screens wilso. Spintires has a great engine. The mud is incredible.

There is also a good modding community for it.

Yepp, lots of cool mods and hours of mine spend in that. Made a thread about it a while back:

Lots of steam workshop and sideloaded mods. You can play with mods in multiplayer... cranes traines you name it. They even mod tanks into the game. The offer from my initial post still stands... I have a few spare keys.

I had never heard of this one but if deff looks like its right up my alley. I will have to check it out. Thanks for the heads up !

I decided to take a 32000 ltr fuel trailer in order to make more fuel points.....

Water crossing seemed easy enough

Bogged down just after the water crossing

Right up to the trailer axel

Sinking down the left side

Recovery springs into action

Arriving on scene

Winch attached and the Goliath beast moves the sunken truck

Descending a very steep slope

Recovery parked up engine off and allowing the fuel truck to continue

Some damage but still working as the truck descends the steep hill

Turning at the bottom of the hill but still going

Attempting the crossing on fast flowing river

Ow My help!!!

Will our hero make it out?...........is this the end for adventurer?.......find out tomorrow with more tales from Spin Tires!!!!

Looks like fun & great shots! Thanks for posting.

Do you have the option to drive from 1st person perspective or all 3rd person?

Some mods have cockpit view but the standard is bonnet / roof view

There is loads of mods for the camera which vanilla is pretty buggy.

I have to say though that with a steering wheel this game gets on another level. If you hit a rock you will be swung to the other side of the room by your steering wheel. If you are on a slope the steering wheel will turn and you have to counter the force. What I love most is the shifting. I am shifting my heart out in this game.

There is in the steam workshop even a buggy Liebherr LTM11200. This is a massive crane. You cant do much with it but still a cool vehicle and cool to mess around with.

I use the wheel gear stick and pedals....first time iv ever used the clutch pedal in a game
And with force feed back every rut or when the vehicle idles makes it shudder.

Longknife

I downloaded it last night & played just a little bit before I needed to hit the rack.

I really liked it but was playing on a gamepad. I will have to plug in my wheel & give it a shot with that. I dont know about driving with a wheel in 3rd person though. I am sure there will be a learning curve.

This game has turned into a real gas (pun intended). I have done a fair bit of wheeling in my day & still looking forward to more (my 97 Jeep YJ is in my shop with new Dana 44 axles & just waiting for me to find a good deal on a 2.5liter diesel engine to get her back on the road) so I can say with some experience they do a really good job of simulating the experience of wheeling in this game. The way the vehicles bog & slide is very well done! They got some of the deepest mud I have ever seen but that makes all the more enjoyable. It can be frustrating & aggravating at times but once again 4 wheeling is like that too.
