I have dabbled with X-Plane but it never stuck. I just dont care for it.

If only someone would make the Tornado for DCS...

X-Trident has actually been working on the Tornado for X-Plane since 2012(!). It's only in October 2015, once they had finished work on their Agusta-Bell AB 412 helicopter project, that they are now fully focused on the Tornado.

A preview of their rebooted Tornado cockpit. Dated December 2015.

Announcement by X-Trident on imminent Version 0.9 of Tornado addon for X-Plane10:


Within days of Release of Version 0.9. Release Imminent. It will be the full product, already beta tested but still missing the polish of a final release. What you can expect, what's not in Version 0.9,  and what advanced custom functionalities are already there.

The Panavia Tornado is a twin-engine, variable-sweep wing multi-role combat aircraft. The Tornado was jointly developed and manufactured by Italy, the United Kingdom, and Germany. It can perform at supersonic speed up to Mach 2.2 and has a service ceiling of about 50,000 ft. Using a sophisticated terrain following radar it is also capable of fully automated low level flying at 200 ft, up to Mach 1.1.
