Thanks to Asid's EXHAUSTIBLE amount of patience, I have upgraded.  Though, I am still having microphone issues with my PC.  But my weekends are still tied up, shall remain so until November.  Now I'm twisting myself into a pretzel about buying ArmA III right now or later...
