The next two weekends and an idea of my schedules for all
« on: January 20, 2015, 04:39:03 AM »
I work till 2000 GMT this weekend both Saturday and Sunday. I will not be able to get to my computer till 2030/2100.
This happens on the same week every month.

I work starting at 2000 GMT the following weekend and will not be able to be on for HAVOC or DOW on that weekend.
This happens on the same week every month as well.

Please keep in mind that other than these four work shift out of every month, I work nights either from 2400-1200 GMT or 0200-1000 GMT weeknight and some weekends.

This means I usually get 4-6 hours of sleep max before coming to play on the weekends, or week days.

Thanks

Hi Cougar

It might be easier if you suggested a solution. Even if it is a change in the time we play. We can then talk about it.

If it would be OK with the group on the one weekend to have the time of mission ending to be no later than 2000 GMT on that weekend once per month, I then could play both HAVOC and TANKS, or if only HAVOC could be moved so that I could at least be part of that.

So solution would be on that weekend to have HAVOC start at 1800 or 1830 GMT.
second solution for TANKS to start at 1730 GMT and to end no later than 1930 GMT. HAVOC would have to be prior to that.

The other weekend where I do not get off work till 2000 GMT, pushing HAVOC to start at 2100 and then Tanks one hour or 1 1/2 hours after that depending on the training scheduled.

I understand the problem that having different times throughout the month, is not the best setup for everyone, and especially those that do not look online for the start times, and assume it is always at the same time.

The current setup forces me to miss 1-2 HAVOC sessions, 1 DOW, and 1 TANKS per month, and that does not take into account any unforeseen issues with sleep, family, and work.

Don't push yourself too much Cougar! You better to stay within your limits and not to try to be heroic.

You are great person and player to have in games, but you have to take care of yourself. Family, sleeping and work as well.

Its just... if you forget those matters that you spoke off. Things might get even worse eventually. So take care of those things and I'm sure your online times will settle up eventually when your life is otherwise going well.  Its as simple things as that... if there is stress or troubles, it causes delays and more troubles that will start to get more and more swollen.

When everything is alright there is lot easier to find time to come online here too and then we can enjoy you even more, than if you try to come here lacking sleep and or having soon need to hurry to work while your family is complaining.

Sincerely ~ Lumi

Thanks lumi. I try to keep that in mind. Always don't want to let down the group though, that's just who I am. Thanks

Not sure about the solution Cougar but i would like to have one where you could participate as much as possible. That is both Havoc and T.A.N.K.S. missions.

Maybe a permanent time change?

This shifted time could be interesting... in this current situation i loose 100% of DOW and 80% of TANKS, so switching them could be a good solution for me.
Maybe could be that TANKS and DOW are switched once a month and DOW and HAVOC, so we could make HAVOC repetitions for the missing like that:
Sat 1 : DOW
Sun 2: 17.30 - 18.30 Havoc 19.00 20:00 TANKS
sat 7 : TANKS
Sun 8 : 20.00 22.00 DOW 22.00 00:00 HAVOC REPETITION ( if needed )
Sat 14 : DOW
Sun 15 17.30 18.30 Havoc 19.00 20:00 TANKS
sat 21 : TANKS
Sun 22 : 20.00 22.00 DOW 22.00 00:00 HAVOC REPETITION ( if needed )
Sat 28 : DOW
Sun 15 17.30 18.30 Havoc 19.00 20:00 TANKS
this is just an hypothetical schedule to show the turnover. This will allow me to play both Tanks and DOW twice per months

I am assuming these times are GMT. Are the numbers dates next to the days? A little confusing with the time differences I think as I do not see any of these matching up for dates this month or the next two on the calender for me. Maybe it would be best for  leadership and as many as would like to be present, have a meeting to look at the schedules, and see if there is anything that can be done with it to accommodate those that regularly attend.
