1) SITUATION:

   a) Enemy:

   - Soviet tank battalion attack has been disrupted by the rest of your battalion, South.

   - Enemy tanks are reportedly turning North, toward your forces.

   - Enemy are equipped with T-64B, BTR-70, BRDM-2.


   b) Own:

   - 1x Leopard 1A4 tank company.

   - 1x M113A2G Panzergrenadier company.

   - 1x Luchs A1 scout platoon.

   - 1x Combat Support platoon.



2) MISSION:

   - Set up a hasty defense between phase lines IRON and COPPER.

   - Prevent breakthrough past phase line COPPER.

   - Defeat the enemy attack.

   - Occupy OBJ 1 and OBJ 2 with Forces superiority or at least 4 AFVs.


3) EXECUTION:

   - Commanders discretion.


Fire Support:

   - Fire support is provided by 1x battery of M1064 firing HE and Smoke.


Time Limit:

   - 60 mins.


Scoring:

   - Major Victory: 80%
   - Victory: 70%
   - Defeat: 60%
   - Objectives held: +25pts, penalty after T+60
   - Enemy retreat: +25pts
   - Tanks: +20pts, penalty after 10% losses
   - Forces: +20pts, penalty after 20% losses
   - Reserve: +10pts if NOT called


Notes:

   - Weather is Heavy, visibility >5000m.  Rain showers and mist forecast.

   - Time of Day 08:15 Local.

   - Infantry platoons are equipped with MILAN ATGMs.

   - Enemy routes are randomized for replayability.

   - If you stray over boundaries or beyond LOA you may be destroyed.

Unfortunately, the enemy concentrates its attack on OBJ1 and OBJ2, while I had created an evenly distributed defense. I pay the price of my miscalculation.





The enemy retreats, and I end the mission. Unfortunately, the enemy controls OBJ1 and OBJ2, so we suffer a major defeat.
