Attention to DetailWith a 310R owner on our testing team, nothing but the best would do! We've focused all of our energy and talent into breathing new life into an aclaimed classic. We have built on our previous simulation and improved it in every department. From the highly detailed modeling both inside and out and smooth custom gauge animations to the finely crafted textures and high fidelity sounds recorded from a real aircraft, we've ensured that our twin is closer than ever to the real thing.
Also included is a very accurate simulation of the venerable KAP 140 autopilot. Faithful to the original, from the font used to the replication of servo drives on the trim wheels and the yoke. The logic used in the KAP 140 has been carefully replicated to deliver one of the most realistic autopilot simulations available. A separate manual for the autopilot has been included.
Perfecting a TwinWe've paid particular attention to the flight dynamics, with a heavy focus on creating an aircraft that is realistic not only in the visual department, but also in the way it handles. The 310R Redux is a powerful and capable aircraft and we wanted to capture an authentic feel to the controls. Hundreds of hours of testing and expert refinement have resulted in a rewarding, yet ultimately enjoyable, flight experience.
Highly ConfigurableThe MilViz 310R Redux includes our own highly detailed GPS units based on the default simulator data, however we recognize that many of our customers use other popular 3rd party options for replicating the GPS functions. For the 310R Redux, we've bundled in compatibility for the most popular avionics add-ons with multiple configurations available to choose from. Compatible 3rd party avionics include the following:
Flight1 750 GTN
Flight1 650 GTN
Reality XP 530 GNS
Reality XP 430 GNS
Navstax Radio/Navigation Suite
Please note that compatibility for the above gauge packages includes support for installation and setup of our product only; use of any of the offered options requires a functional existing installation of the appropriate gauge. In addition, any gauges we list compatibility for are not included with the MilViz 310R Redux.
Use of any 3rd party avionics package in any desired simulator is of course also restricted to the availability of the avionics package for that simulator. Please see the respective manufacturers websites for platform compatibility.
Single Purchase, Multi-Platform UseThe MilViz 310R Redux package now supports a wide range of platforms, in a single, downloadable installer:
FSX: Acceleration
FSX: Steam Edition
Prepar3d v2
Prepar3d v3
Prepar3d v4
MVAMS Updating CapabilityOur innovative MilViz Aircraft Management System (MVAMS) is now included with the 310R Redux package.
Our MVAMS pre-flight configuration utility runs outside the simulator providing the means to configure and incrementally update individual products to quickly address issues and make fixes when required, without having to download and reinstall complete new versions of the aircraft. This allows our customers to quickly discover and install any pending updates for their aircraft, ensuring that they are completely up-to-date with our latest fixes, changes, or technology.
Important: Please note that all of the current default analog and digital avionic equipment installed in our general aviation aircraft and helicopters is based on underlying simulator code and as such, is subject to various deficiencies which are not able to be addressed by our team. This includes our GNS 530 / 430 units, audio panel, transponder, ADF unit, and nav/com radios. Due to the inherent limitations present in the simulator, we are therefore unable to provide fixes or support for any issues related to the operation or functionality of these items at this time.
