Its a fortified place but its a long way from the important routes on the map and the hill above it can dominate it. The best defensive positions on that map are the bigger towns as these have many fortified buildings in (they are not marked BTW, we do not mark them on KS Maps) and they of course dominate roads or river crossings, or both.

I thought about the hill also. I do believe it would be good for infantry v infantry  8) .

Our group really enjoy playing on this map and look forward to discovering many of the places not shown on the map.
